Some believe it is a preventative, as sharks do not suffer with any cancer as they are all cartilaginous. Raw organic pumpkin seeds, about a handful per day, are proven to help keep the prostate healthy. Don't know about treatment or cures for prostate cancer

Probably none. Tigers bones are used as medicines in the far east along with other things, seriously, tiger bones for medicine, shark cartilage a prostate cancer cure, some people must either believe everything they are told.....or.....have really high hopes !

If anything it would be preventive. Prostate problems are related to Harmonie unbalances which cause uncontrolled growth. Check out Estrogen and plastics, note plastics give off a type of Estrogen that may cause the uncontrolled growth of the prostate.

Shark cartilage and other cartilage/calcium alternative claims haven't held up under scientific studies. It's probably generally healthy, but I don't think it can cure cancer. Sorry.

No. Myth.

Ask a doctor. Not an MD, but a DO. They have as much schooling as MDs, can write prescriptions just like MDs, but don't throw pills at you like MDs. They try to get to the root of the problem, and treat it in a different way. DO stands for Doctor of Osteopathy. See one. If he recommends surgery, and wants to remove your prostate, do it. He might have a lot of other ideas though. He'll know all about shark cartilage. Good luck to you. :)
