I don't know about Cancer but too much masturbation can cause some health problems later in life. You should try to limit the amount you do this. You rob your body of a lot every time you masturbate and unless you give back to your body it can do damage. Not to mention the problem of erectile dis-function.
2 :
No it actually helps PREVENT prostate cancer. So keep up the jacking off!
3 :
Really Ive never heard of that ;-0 Now you've got me kind of worried to..would you mind sending me a link to the article that you read this in.
4 :
You read it wrong. If you ejaculate 21 times + more a month then you will have a LESSER reisk of prostate cancer. It's because you are flushing out the prostate and preventing the cells from being radiated (and turning into cancer). Also masturbating does NOTHING. You have to realise that your body can't tell that you masturbate. IT doesn't have the ability to tell if it's your hand, someone elses hand or a vagina. It is just responding to being touched and stimulated. So if sex can't cause something then masturbation can't. Ejaculating frequently is very healthy. -Connor
5 :
You're normal, it actually decreases your chance. Don't be scared. :)
6 :
It's just the opposite dear. Daily masturbation prevents prostate diseases.
7 :
no it just causes blindness
8 :
Masturbating prevents you from getting prostate cancer.

Has any study shown that the hormone Zoladex completely wipes out Prostate cancer

Has any study shown that the hormone Zoladex completely wipes out Prostate cancer?
I am 65 with Stage IV prostate cancer that doctors said is aggressive and has metastasized to the lumbar bone. I was given up to two years to take Zoladex hormone shot every three months to suppress the cancer. After that, the next recommended treatment is chemotherapy. Any comments the on basic question or the recommended treatment?

Would the White House correspondents laugh if I made a joke about Obama getting prostate cancer

Would the White House correspondents laugh if I made a joke about Obama getting prostate cancer?
or is their laughter save to only for sick creeps like Wanda Sykes? Imagine Wanda Sykes getting breast cancer and losing her hair from chemo. How funny that would be?

Were you expecting something Intelligent to be said.
4 :
I was thinking it would be funnier if she was hit by a bus and knocked into a nearby woodchipper...and I don't even like Rush or Cheney.
5 :
good point. That was not funny in the least. It was hate speech and Obama was laughing uncontrollably. How classless is that? Disgusting.
6 :
No, they would not laugh at all. They would vilify you, and criticize you, and trash your name and everyone associated with you. So much for freedom of speech... And wishing death on anyone is just not funny.
7 :
Down with Limbaugh.
8 :
This is referring to the Rush Limbaugh joke I assume. Yeah, that was a bit much. Stephen Colbert's White House Press Dinner was far and away the best ever.

Why should he THE GOP ALREADY HAD A RACIST SONG promoted by thier ingorant LEADER that caused speactor to jump ships "OBAMA THE MAGIC DRAGON" please sing it more gop clowns ha hah ha hahahhaha

Obviously the left enjoys joking about slow painful death. I can't believe the number of people who thought that was funny. SFC US Army Retired

awww did someone get their feelings hurt?
12 :
...this would have been even funnier... ...I wish Michell Obama would get liver cancer, this way she could save all that money on electrolysis, since she is a shaved down Big Foot, when she starts getting chemo... Now that is funny...

They probably wouldn't. They only like to think about conservatives suffering. Remember when that piece of shi* George Clooney made fun of Charleton Heston about having Alzheimer's? These Do-Gooders are the biggest hypocrites on the planet. Lets not sink to their level.
15 :
I never heard of Wanda Sykes until this little episode. it's just another glaring example of the double standard of the left. Would we laugh if Sykes got breast cancer. Not likely. One day she'll answer to a higher authority for her comments. And Obama will answer for his laughter at such a sick joke.
16 :
I don't listen to Rush.. But if your a comedian you don't wish death on any one... but was more sad is that the President laughed at it..now that is in poor taste... this is someones life regardless how you feel for the person.. he is still a husband and a father... just like Obama I don't like the guy but I would never wish death upon him..
17 :
Why not. Here is my joke about obama. He and his family should get cancer and have government run health care (like they want for us) and they should all be in chairs facing each other watching it eat them to the bone. Funny huh LOL LOL LOL LOL Now lets watch all the obama people violate me. What a bunch of losers.
18 :
I don't know why you are so upset. If Rush really does lose a kidney, it's his own fault for his repeated drug use. So if he isn't worried about his kidney, why should you be worried about his kidney. I am sure there are many Republicans that would donate one of theirs. Not. Just so you know, there were many Republicans at that dinner, they were all laughing.
19 :
No. What a great example our president is for our kids. lol
20 :
I say we let the little snakes like Sykes have free run of the landscape for a while. Yuck them up. Have MSM bless them. Let the normal Americans become familiar with them and decide if they want this to be the look of the new America for themselves and their kids.

I wasn't sure if Obama even had a prostate; I know he has no testicles.

Who is the best doctor to treat prostate cancer in the United States

Who is the best doctor to treat prostate cancer in the United States?
Naturally I want to know who is best at the surgery to "remove" the cancer, but I would also like to know who can perform the surgery with the best outcome, ie least risk of impotence, incontinence, etc. Hopefully it's the same surgeon(s)!

There are so many great doctors here and so many great cancer centers here. I have no idea where you are from but the United States is a very large place. It would be impossible to answer this question in a manner that would cover the entire United States. If I were you, I would contact the American Cancer Society and ask them if they can recommend someone. I know that there are specialist all over the place and some are much better than others. For instance I live in Florida and have traveled to Atlanta for 16 of my operations but mine were for Colon Rectal cancer and the side effects and all of the other problems that developed. Contact the American Cancer Society and ask and if they can't help, then contact the Mayo Clinic. There are just so many places you can go. Good Luck and God Bless You.
2 :
James Brooks of Stanford University Hospital is a great surgeon call his office and if he is too far away from where you live get a referral from him

no and it does not matter how many times that you masterbait that does not matter
2 :
cancer has no age,but never worry over something you don't know that you have that is stressful.Masterbation is normal and healthy and most doctors say masterbation helps the prostate.
3 :
i guess you better tell your mom... good luck!
4 :
Yes, a fifteen-year-old can get prostate cancer, but: No, you don't get the same from masturbation.
5 :
Prostate Cancer is up your rear bum not in your member, so spank that monkey all you want, and yeah you can get it but not likely since it occurs mostly in men over 40
6 :
I DONT KNO
7 :
I've never heard of anyone getting prostate cancer from masturbating, as a matter of fact masturbating probably helps the prostate At your age I wouldn't worry to much about it.
8 :
Masturbating 5 or more times a week lowers chance of getting prostate cancer by up to 70%, and it usually occurs in men over 40, only a tiny percentile of males get it below that age and certainly not at 15. You are probably masturbating to hard, loosen the grip a bit or use lube. If you get blood in your urine, tell your parents though. or have trouble doing a bog.
9 :
It's highly unlikely. It's ironic- the hormones once charged with causing prostate cancer (testosterone & dihydrotestosterone [DHT]) are at their peak during puberty, yet very few men get prostate cancer at that age. Anything's possible, but again, it's highly unlikely. Testicular cancer is more common among men ages 18-30. Masturbation may prevent prostate cancer. Check pubmed.gov or similar sites with studies that are available for free to the public. Michael Leitzmann, at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland & colleagues tested if frequency of ejaculation corresponded to increased rate of prostate cancer. It didn't in their study, & in fact, those who masturbated or had intercourse more frequently had less occurrence of prostate cancer. That's not a justification for masturbation per se, but an interesting finding nonetheless. Your symptoms are very non-specific, meaning that they can apply to lots of health issues. Compile a list of symptoms & talk to your doctor about them, emphasizing your concern & the symptoms you think are most important. Other areas to investigate include *kidney* or bladder function, which can cause these symptoms.

Does my father's prostate cancer increase my risk of developing cancer

Does my father's prostate cancer increase my risk of developing cancer?
My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I am a female, but does his prostate cancer increase my risk of developing any type of cancer?

While it is hard to determine if you will develop any type of cancer, I'd say there is no real correlation between your father's prostate and your potential to get some type of cancer. It is said that if a man was healthy all his life and nothing else was wrong, he would most probably die of prostate cancer. That is, if left untreated. Study on this topic and don't get freaked out. There are a lot of dynamics at work here and comparing men's health to women's health (in certain areas) isn't quite the same. In short I think no.
2 :
It does raise it but not above the level most of us have, I think everyone on here has had a family member with cancer at some point.
3 :
There are 2 genes, BRCA1 and BRCA2 that if you have the mutation, you can be more suseptable to Breast, Cervial and Prostate cancer. I know the test is available to women with breast cancer so see if they carry the gene, but I don't know if it's available to men. Does anyone else on your fathers side of the family have cancer, particularly breast cancer? they may have had genetic testing which may help you. but remember, just because there may be a mutation does not mean you will get cancer. but, everyone should have annual physicals and women should do breast self exams, have mammos (if you're of age, or younger if there is a fmily history and have an annual pap and exam. good luck to you and your father.

What tests can be used to screen for prostate cancer

What tests can be used to screen for prostate cancer?
Why might urine flow be impeded for individuals with prostate problems or following prostate surgery? Be sure to define the terms malignant and metastatic.

after surg for several days ,there might be swelling due to the trauma of surg. malignant means new growth, but not in a orderly fashion cells continue to multiply invading other tissue crowding out healthy tissue. depriving them of blood and oxygen.. Metastasis means it is at other sites too. or the original is growing larger

Can Lupron injections for Prostate Cancer leak out the hormone if not administered correctly

Can Lupron injections for Prostate Cancer leak out the hormone if not administered correctly?
My dad gets Lupron injections for prostate cancer. The injection site is leaking quite a bit, has for the past 2 treatments (1 every 3 months). Based on other symptoms, we think his body isn't keeping the full injection, although the dr. says this isn't possible. Is it possible some of the actual hormone could leak out and not just the oil that it is packed in? Or is there a blood test that would measure the amount of hormone in his system vs. how much should be in his system?

I was taking shots for 3 years. They hurt my hips so bad, I was in constant pain and walking was difficult. I switched to Lupron Depot, a capsule placed in arm, with 1 year effectiveness. I would have stopped treatment without this alternative. The cost is the same, but check with insurance, since some raters don't know what the procedure is. Good luck to all of you.
