I care about any illness that cuts the productive life of a human being- however most men die WITH prostate cancer as opposed to FROM it. edit What some people don't understand is actually how to read reports. This is a report on CA -it doesn't list causes of death for say heart disease. infection, etc..... For the majority of men with prostate CA the cause of death is near the regular US averages most often heart disease.

does anybody care about all the people in Africa dying of poverty? How about those civilians killed in Iraq and Afghanistan? Does anyone care about people living in Vietnam living with deformities caused by the poisoning by USA ... Wel the can go on, do you care ? If so, what did you do to show that you care? Anyways sad topic.

I don't know if they care. I just know that mainstream feminists and self-proclaimed professors continue to misrepresent the statistics. The MORTALITY rate for prostate cancer is as high as the mortality rate for breast cancer. Now guess which one gets much more research funding? And the above link explicitly shows that prostate cancer kills at the same rate as breast cancer. Is this misreading of the evidence purposeful, or ignorance?

according to rowdy's info the mortality rate is higher for men in every disease. It's always been that way. men die 10 years before women do. So why are women the weaker sex. doesn't make sense.Do any of you women care about all the men who died from prostate cancer last year?
