i'm wondering since she passed recently from it... am i more prone to have a testicular, prostate, cancer etc? or since we're different sexes it won't pass on?

There is gene that increases risk for both ovarian and prostate cancer. However, cancer is rarely hereditary and very unlikely if your grandmother was over 50 years old and she was the only family member with either cancer. Even if she had a rare hereditary type there would be a 50% chance for her to pass it on to her child and if they had it a 50% chance to pass it on to you.
