Can you develope prostate cancer at a young age?
Why is it recommended to get your prostate checked at a older age, like 40 plus?

extremely rare.

yes but highly unlikely,40 is when men generally start to have prostate issues and if cancer is the issue it is best to catch it while it is confined to the prostate (before it spreads to other part of the body

Most prostate cancers occur in men over 50 years of age, although I know of an individual who was diagnosed at 38 and died when he was 43. Screening is recommended from age 45 and on, eben if no symptoms are present.

you can develop it anytime but it is rare. they are trying to change it to 40 and older. but your family and your lifestyle has alot to do with it. and if your black your also twice as likely. my husband had it at 49 but his father has it and hes also black.
