When should men begin prostate cancer screenings

When should men begin prostate cancer screenings?
My husband's almost 26 and I'm pretty sure he's never had one. Should I suggest it at this point?

After puberty.

30s or 40s i think. earlier if it runs in your family.

depending on your family its always ok to be early dont worry if you want to get checked around early 30's

35 to 40 if there is a family history. Otherwise most doctors and insurance hav eyou wait until 50. If you're on HRT, then you have to get the blood tests every 3 months.

Age 45-50 once a year unless you're having problems relating to the prostate like an enlarged prostate causing difficulty when urinating or burning when urinating which could be an infection. If anyone in your family has had prostate cancer you might want to start earlier getting a PSA screening. The digital exam by a doctor can only feel 1/3 of the prostate so it's not very reliable.
