My husband has had skin cancer twice and also prostate cancer

My husband has had skin cancer twice and also prostate cancer?
Is he more likely to get another kind of cancer, or is it all random? Both skin cancers were on his face, and he had his prostate removed. He's 65, and in excellent shape. Thank you.

LadyLynn - The simple answer is NO, BUT he is more likely to get one or more skin cancers of the type he just had. Most likely to repeat is the relatively benign basal cell cancer (carcinoma) which usually occurs on the sun-exposed skin of the head, such as the face and ears. He is not more likely to get another type of cancer internally. It would be good for him to make a visit to his dermatologist once a year to have a skin check for any new lesions,
