How instrument/machine does a doctor use to check where cancer cells are in the body? (PROSTATE CANCER)?
Need some help please. In particular which machine is used on patient with prostate cancer to see if the cancer is spread or contained.

Prostate specific antigen is measured in blood and it indicates if there is prostate cancer

You are asking different things: !- How instrument/machine does a doctor use to check where cancer cells are in the body. Answer รข€“ None. We do not have a way to see the body on the cellular level without a microscope. 2- which machine is used on patient with prostate cancer to see if the cancer is spread or contained. Answer - CTs, bone scans and PET scans are used to see if it has spread to distant sites. A microscope is used to see if it is contained.
