Is it common for males under 30 to be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer

Is it common for males under 30 to be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer?
I just want to know if it is common for males that are under the age of 30 to be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. If so, are there certain causes that lead to being diagnosed at such a young age?

Virtually no one is diagnosed with prostate cancer at that age. However, a person with another form of cancer in their past has a higher risk of all forms of cancer later. Otherwise, very rare. Best of luck

usually testing for prostate cancer happens at the age of 40 , I know this because my husband will be tested because his grandfather and father both had prostate cancer and we have spoken to many doctors about this. Does anyone in your family have prostate cancer it is hereditary

Cancer does not discriminate on any age. Just after 50 most PD want you start screening for prostate and colon cancer. Health plans will not want you screened under 50 unless you are having it checked by your PD by getting a digical exam. I don't remember ever getting a rectal exam under 50. Having urinary problems is the beginning that can be a prostate problem and should be reported to your PD for further testing.
