Does the fact that you have Diabetes 2 complicate your recovery efforts? I am thinking that prostate cancer treatment might involve a dietary adjustment that might complicate what one is trying to do to cut down on sugar intake.

Make sure you talk to your doc about all the treatment options and choose one that gives you the best chances for long-term health. Look into robotic surgery. If this is an option for you, it may cause the least amount of complications.

Speak to your doctor and letting them know about you trying to lower your sugar intake and they'll put you on the proper diet for your recovery.
